Created by Jacinth Tan Yi Ting, Sharkdog is a children’s CG-animated streaming television series, produced for Netflix. Jacinth is also the executive producer of the show and it has been edited by Wong Ai Koong and Yuyun Garnasih.
The first season of the show premiered on September 3, 2021 and it received decent feedback from critics and audiences. It has been rated 6.4/10 on IMDb and has been renewed for a second season, which was released on June 30, 2022. The makers are currently working on the upcoming season and the details are expected to be revealed soon.

Sharkdog Plot and Cast
Towards the end of Sharkdog Season 1, we saw how Mr. Heubel, Dennis and Captain Quigley came together to capture Sharkdog, who was at the carnival at the time. Max saw what was happening and rushed to save his best friend but got stuck up in the carousel.
Sharkdog stopped at the right time and carnival authorities saved him from getting caught. Max and his best friend left the carnival with his parents. In the new season, we can expect to see some new adventures happening in the lives of Max and his buddy. Sharkdog has realized his strength and abilities and is now prepared to handle tough situations in the future. The third season is expected to pick up the story from where it left off in the second season.
Talking about the cast, all the lead actors from Season 1 are expected to come back to provide the voice for the characters. This include Liam Mitchell, Dee Bradley Baker, Kari Wahlgren, Aly Mawji, Judy Alice Lee and Meaghan Davies.
Sharkdog Season 3 Release Date
The first season premiered on September 2021 and it was later renewed for a second season, which premiered on June 30, 2022. On January 18, 2023, the developers have announced that the series is coming for a third season. Although the official release date is yet to come out.
The new season might consist same numbers of episodes like the previous seasons. However, the developers are yet to confirm all the details related to the third season.
