The show is broadcasted by TLC.  The show has always been much controversy due to the nature of its content. The Brown family has faced much love and hate for their show. The family has even faced investigation from authorities due to the nature of the show.  The family claimed that they participated in the show to aware of the public of polygamist families.  The show has always been a polarising series and received mixed reviews from fans.

The show has recently completed its fourteenth season and there is no official news about the next season. The fans complained that the show had been too stretched by now. Some even claimed that the show is scripted. Kody Brown vehemently denied it. The news about its cancellation or renewal is too early to predict now.

The coronavirus pandemic has brought the whole entertainment industry to a halt leading to disruption of many shows and series. “Sister Wives ” is no exception to this story.
