Slow Horses will be the new thriller drama from Apple TV+. This is an adaptation of CWA Gold Dagger Award-winning Mick Herron’s first novel in the “Slow Horses” series.

Slow Horses: Plot & Cast!
“Slow Horses” follows a team of British intelligence agents who serve in a dumping ground department of MI5 – Slough House. Oldman stars as Jackson Lamb, the brilliant but irascible leader of the spies who end up in Slough House due to their career-ending mistakes. Furthermore, joining Oldman is a decorated ensemble cast including Academy Award nominee Kristin Scott Thomas (“Darkest Hour”), Academy Award nominee Jonathan Pryce (“The Two Popes”), BAFTA Scotland Award winner Jack Lowden (“Dunkirk”), and Olivia Cooke (“Sound of Metal”). See-Saw Films produces the series for Apple by. And, Will Smith (“Veep”) adapts this for television. Graham Yost executive produces alongside Smith. Also, Jamie Laurenson, Hakan Kousetta, Iain Canning, Emile Sherman, Gail Mutrux, and Douglas Urbanski serve as executive producers on the series. James Hawes directs all six episodes and executive produces.
Six of these episodes will be based on Herron’s first book, Slow Horses, and the other six will be based on his second novel, Dead Lions. Production sources are referring to it as two seasons, or at the very least, two sets of six episodes.

Apple TV+ revealed the premiere date and a first look at the keenly anticipated espionage series “Slow Horses”, which will make its worldwide debut on Friday, April 1, 2022.
