Set in Los Angeles in 1983, the series revolves around the first crack epidemic and its impact on the city. The executive producers of the show are Dave Andron, Eric Amadio, Trevor Engelson, Michael London, Thomas Schlamme, John Singleton, and Leonard Chang.

The first season premiered on July 5, 2017, followed by the second season on July 19, 2018. The third season was released on July 10, 2019, and the fourth season premiered on February 24, 2021. The fifth season was released on February 23, 2022, and the series has been recently renewed for a sixth and final season.

Snowfall Plot and Cast

Since Snowfall Season 5 would conclude on April 20, audiences have to wait until they can predict what would happen in Season 6. The final season may bring us anywhere after the fifth season since Franklin is stuck in a cage with a ferocious tiger and attackers lying around in the grass like murdering hippies after unwittingly taking LSD.

The fifth season started with the news that Franklin had a new girlfriend in the strangely stoic Veronique and the couple was expecting a child. Veronique has maintained her distance from Franklin since Season 5 starts when she had to flee a drive-by shooting planned by one of his competitors and was stressed out after Franklin was taken.

She had her doubts about his ability to protect her and their child. People would be astonished if the final season would not revolve around the formerly innocent teen now trying to be the kind of father only a drug dealer could be.

Coming to the cast of Season 6, we should get to see Carter Hudson, Damson Idris, Emily Rios, Isaiah John, Angela Lewis, Michael Hyatt, Sergio Manchette, and Amin Joseph in the lead roles.

Snowfall Season 6 Release Date

The fifth season of Snowfall premiered in February 2022 and it was renewed for the sixth and final season in April 2022. Considering that, the sixth season should premiere by mid-2023.

The upcoming season should consist of ten episodes like the first five seasons. The makers are yet to reveal other details about the sixth season.
