Bong Joon ho is the director of the original movie. He is the director of the Oscar award-winning movie- Parasite. Just a $40 million budgeted film Snowpiercer earned $86.8 million in the box-office. The South Korean Czech movie deals with 1001 passengers of a train circling the globe after they have been affected by the apocalypse. The earth turned a frostland altogether. On the train, the people are divided into social classes. However, in the series, the Korean director is an executive producer.

What is the plot of the snowpiercer?

As discussed earlier, Snowpiercer focuses on the remnant humankind who travels around the globe in a single train dealing with social discrimination and injustice. The world appears like a snowy forest after the apocalypse. The story of Snowpiercer is set after seven years of the apocalypse.

There are about 10 episodes in this series. We can also expect a renewal of the series for many parts. The first three episodes are named ‘First, the weather changed’, ‘Prepare to Brace’, ‘Access is Power.’ The next two episodes will be written by James Hawkes.

The series will debut in the TNT network. It will also be available on Netflix. The scheduled release date is May 17, 2020. Originally, the team planned to release the show on May 30 this year but raised the date. This is because the production team wants the viewers to enjoy the show during the current pandemic.
