Created by Hannah Bos & Paul Thureen with Duplass Brothers Productions and The Mighty Mint production companies, Somebody Somewhere is an American comedy television series. It is set to premiere exclusively on HBO on January 16, 2022.
Somebody Somewhere: Plot
The series, Somebody Somewhere, is broadly based on the life of the character named Sam who is somewhere in her 40’s, is in pursuit of herself. She has returned to her hometown of Manhattan, Kansas where she returned a year before taking care of her beloved sister Holly during her illness. There, she struggles to piece her life together after loss, overcomes the crisis, and re-discovers herself. This endearing “coming-of-middle-age” show comprises seven episodes in total.

The show stars the stunning comedian, actor, and well-known cabaret singer Bridget Everett as Sam in the lead role. The actress herself belongs to Kansas. The cast also includes Jeff Hiller as Joel, Mary Catherine Garrison as Tricia Miller, Danny McCarthy as Rick, and Mike Hagerty as Ed Miller. Besides, in the recurring roles, Murray Hill as Fred Rococo and Hudson Odom as Michael are cast.

The trailer gives us fragmented shots focusing on Sam’s life, her struggle. It also introduces us to other major characters in the show she will be meeting through her journey.
The first episode will air on Jan 16. The rest of the episodes will release weekly till the seventh and the last episode gets released on 27 February.
