Developed by Man of Action, Sonic Prime is an animated television series developed for Netflix. The show is based on the Sonic the Hedgehog video game series. The executive producers of the show include Man of Action, Haruki Satomi, Yukio Sugino, Shuji Utsumi, Toru Nakahara, Takashi Iizuka, Kazuyuki Hoshino, Morio Kishimoto, Anne Loi, Erik Wiese, Josh Scherba, Stephanie Betts, and Logan McPherson. The first season was released in 2022 and later got renewed for a second season.

The basic premise of the show focuses on Sonic who is the main protagonist of the show. He jumps onto the multiverse trend that’s starting to dominate film and TV shows, with Dr. Eggman discovering the powerful Paradox Prism which sends Sonic Prime to a parallel world called New Yoke City.

As of the article writing, the makers have not revealed any certain plot for the second season but we can expect it to pick up the story from where it left off in the previous season.
