The animated television series, Sonic Prime is developed for the streaming service platform Netflix by Man of Action. It is based on the Sonic the Hedgehog video game series.
Man of Action is also the executive producer of the series along with Shuji Utsumi, Logan McPherson Haruki Satomi, Takashi Iizuka, Toru Nakahara, Morio Kishimoto, Kazuyuki Hoshino, Anne Loi, Erik Wiese, Josh Scherba, Yukio Sugino, Stephanie Betts. The series debuted in 2022, and later got renewed for season 2 which will be released soon.

Sonic Prime Season 2 Release Date
Consisting of eight episodes in total, the first season of the series released on December 15, 2022, on Netflix. The series has received a positive response from critics and audiences which is lead the series to renewal.
But the makers have not confirmed any official release date for season 2 yet since the series was renewed recently but we expect that the series will be released in late 2023 or early 2024. The upcoming season is also expected to have the same number of episodes as the previous season but an official announcement is yet to confirm it.
Sonic Prime Plot and Cast
The series focuses on Sonic who is the main character of the show. He jumps onto the multiverse trend that’s starting to dominate film and TV shows, with Dr. Eggman discovering the powerful Paradox Prism which sends Sonic Prime to a parallel world called New Yoke City.
As ofMarch 2023, the makers have not revealed any certain plot for the second season but we can expect it to pick up the story from where it left off in the previous season.
Coming to the cast members, it includes Adam Nurada as Knuckles the Echidna, Ashleigh Ball as Miles “Tails” Prower, Ian Hanlin as Shadow the Hedgehog, Shannon Chan-Kent as Amy Rose, Deven Mack as Sonic the Hedgehog, Vincent Tong as Renegade Knucks, Kazumi Evans as Rouge the Bat, and many more are there. The upcoming season might introduce some new characters to make the series more interesting.
