Yes, we’re excited about the Space Force and why wouldn’t we? It’s only about a week from now to see Michael Scott on screen again. To top that, we will have Pheobe Buffay(Lisa Kudrow) from FRIENDS.
Space Force is another workplace comedy series that centers on a group of people tasked with establishing the sixth branch of the United States Armed Forces, the United States Space Force. The fans of both Michael Scott and The Office are in for a treat.
What’s The Space Force About?
What was the first thing that came to your mind when you heard about Donald Trump’s Space Force idea? Oh sure, it’s like some ripoff Star Trek rejuvenation. Didn’t take Trump for a Star Trek fan? Well, jokes apart, Space force is the sixth division of the armed forces created by the executive branch of the U.S. government and President Trump. Steve Carell and Greg Daniels took this up and monetized on it.
“We realized that the story had beautiful visuals and a mythic quality, and it echoed some of America’s best moments,” Space Force co-creator Greg Daniels said in a press release. “It had a lot of heroism and yet it also had a strong satirical element. Suddenly everybody has realized that there are riches to be had on the moon, and we’ve got to stake our claim. It feels like there’s now a scramble to colonize space.

The contrast between that and the super hopeful early days of NASA, when it was just such an achievement for all of mankind to get a person on the moon, is a good subject for satire.”
