What is the show about?
Special is a distinctive and uplifting new series about a gay man, Ryan, with mild cerebral palsy who decides to rewrite his identity and finally go after the life he wants.
Is the show coming back with its Season 2?
We will soon be having another season of the show. In December 2019, the series was renewed for a second and final season. Stay tuned for the latest updates!

Most of the main cast will be returning for the second season as well. We will be having Ryan O’Connell as Ryan Hayes, Jessica Hecht as Karen Hayes, and Punam Patel as Kim Laghari. Also, we will be having Marla Mindelle as Olivia, Augustus Prew as Carey, and Patrick Fabian as Phil. We will also see Max Jenkins as Tanner, Charlie Barnett as Harrison, and Ana Ortiz as Susan. Also, we have Utkarsh Ambudkar as Ravi, Lauren Weedman as Tonya, and Buck Andrews as Henry. We will also be seeing Anjali Bhimani as Bina, Ajay Mehta as Vijay, and Karan Soni as Dev.
