Spider-Man 3 Set To Feature Doctor Strange!

Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Spider-Man 3 (not the 2007 one) is said to have a lot of surprises for us in store! We were all excited about the movie either way, perhaps more excited than we were for the 2007 version (yikes! Sorry, Tobey).

Spider-Man 3: Cast, Plot and Other Interesting News

Okay, here’s the first piece of interesting news. There are reports that Tom Holland might not be the only Spider-Man in the 2021 movie! Yes, you heard that right. Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield might also play Spider-Man in the upcoming movie!

Here’s the second bit. Okay, calm down a bit before I tell you. Ready for it? Doctor Strange, played by Benedict Cumberbatch is about to make a cameo in the movie! Well, you already knew that through the title of this article, didn’t you? Well, darn me for being overexcited! Cumberbatch, playing Doctor Strange, will be Peter Parker’s mentor since Tony Stark tragically died in Avengers: Endgame.

Now, for the last but not the least interesting bit. Jamie Foxx may reprise his role as Electro from The Amazing Spider-Man 2! It is likely that the three Spider-Men will fight all their foes from over the years in this movie.

Speaking of that, I wonder what the title would be. And what about the ending of Spider-Man: Far From Home? What happens to Peter now that his identity is revealed and he is falsely implicated for a major crime?

Tom Holland will definitely be back as Peter Parker, our favorite web-equipped friend! Recent Emmy winner and Euphoria star Zendaya is also set to reprise her role as the quirky and cute MJ, a.k.a. Michelle Jones. Tony Revolori will also be back as Flash Thompson, Peter’s classmate and enemy who is obsessed with his Spider-Man persona.

Spider-Man 3: Release Date and Trailer

Sony and MCU are planning to release a teaser trailer in December and we, here at Droid Journal, cannot wait for it! While December 17, 2021 has been touted as the release date for the movie, it has not been confirmed yet.
