It seems our “Spidey” can’t stick. Like all the other stalled productions, Sony has also been prey to the pandemic. For all the Spider-Man fans, there is bad news all over. “Venom 2” and “Morbius”, both Spider-Man antihero movies have already shifted their releases, and now “Spider-Man: 3” delays its release too.
Along with Spider-Man 3, Sony has also delayed the dates for the new installment of “Doctor Strange”.
What is the new release date for ” Spider-Man 3”?
The original release was scheduled to be on July 16, 2021, but due to the stopped productions, Sony has delayed the release. The new date announced for the “Far from Home” sequel is November 5, 2021, four months after the initial release.
What will be the title and cast of “Spider-Man 3”?
Marvel has not announced the official title yet, but Tom Holland revealed in 2019 that it will involve “Home” (“work from home” maybe). Tom Holland is going to reprise his role as Peter Parker, Zendaya as MJ, Jacob Batalon as Ned and maybe Marisa Tomei as Aunt May.

What will be the plot for “Spider-Man: 3”?
Nothing has been said about the plot for the movie except when Tom Holland who said the threequel would be “absolutely insane” (that doesn’t give out much, does it?). Although we can speculate from “Far from Home” that if Mysterio is alive, we will be seeing a “Sinister Six” plot. Some fan theories also suggest a crossover with Tom Hardy as “Venom” and Jared Leto as “Morbius”. We will have to wait and watch for trailers, sneak-peeks and behind the scenes, as of now, we have nothing except the date.
