The spidey guy is back again to cast his webs in the third installment of the MCU series with Spider-Man: No Way Home! After two highly successful past films, the beloved character is back once again. Thus, fans will be happy to hear that the film is coming soon! The title was revealed in February and filming ended in March. We will pick up right where we left off in the previous movie and Spider-Man’s true identity will get exposed. The film is directed by Kevin Fiege and Amy Pascal. Also, a fourth Spider-Man film has also been announced and is in development.
Spider-Man: No Way Home: Plot and Cast
The official synopsis of the movie reads as follows:
“For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero is unmasked and no longer able to separate his normal life from the high-stakes of being a Super Hero. When he asks for help from Doctor Strange, the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man,”
To make his identity a secret again, Spidey takes help from Doctor Strange. However, a grave mistake from the latter tears opens the multiverse. This lets villains from alternate realities enter our own and threaten all life. Thus, with such high stakes, we can expect the film to be jam-packed with action and drama.
As for the cast, Tom Holland will reprise his role as the famous Peter Parker. Zendaya will also return as MJ. Other members include Marisa Tomei, Jacob Batalon and Tony Revolori. Benedict Cumberbatch and Jamie Foxx will also be joining the cast.
Spider-Man: No Way Home: Release Date and Trailer
Spider-Man: No Way Home will premiere at the theaters on Friday, December 17. It is unclear whether the film will be available for streaming on any platform. Watch the official trailer for the film here:
