Star Trek Discovery is another American series showcasing events like visiting future and space. It is based on the original 1966 TV show ‘Star Trek’. The show was loved immensely. Then fans, now parents, are willing to watch one of their favorite shows today as well.
Star Trek Discovery first premiered on 19th September 2017. It was created for networks like ‘CBS All Access’ and ‘CBS’. Directed by Bryan Fuller and Alex Kurtzman, the series springs 930 years ahead into the future.

A few main actors are as same as from the first and second season. Sonequa Martin-Green, Doug Jones, Antony Rapp, Mary Wiseman, and David Ajala. As Michael Burnham, Saru, Paul Stamets, Sylvia Tittly, Hugh Culber, and Cleveland “Book” Booker, respectively.
A recurring character is Adil Hussain. Hussain is a Bollywood actor who has also worked in international movies like ‘Life of Pi’ and ‘The Reluctant Fundamentalist’. And a notable guest is Michelle Yeoh as Philippa Georgiou.
The plot of the Series
The plot of the series ‘Star Trek Discovery’ is designed to make the officers of the Starfleet find new planets and lifeforms. Starfleet is the organization where these officers work. It is managed by the United Federation of Planets.
In season 3 of the series, it is said that the officers of the Starfleet travel into the 32nd century. Burnham, Saru, and the rest of the crew voyages to discover an undiscovered country. A few dangerous things dump a Federation crew in an unknown period.
This leaves them to safeguard themselves with nobody to rely on.
Release Date
Even though ‘Star Trek: Picard’ is brought to an end, but there is no official date for ‘Star Trek: Discovery’ Season 3 as of now. It was first speculated as to the series would return in April.
However, now the release date of the series has been delayed. The very reason is that the world is under the bad effects of pandemic COVID-19.

The trailer has been released. That also suggests that the officers of the Starfleet will go too far ahead. The journey seems watch-worthy.
