Star Trek: discovery S3 was planned to be aired sometime in 2020. Most of the filming was already completed. But then the show is now delayed due to incomplete post-production work. The COVID-19 global pandemic has brought the global entertainment industry to a complete standstill. All production work has mostly stopped. In order to enforce social distancing, not many people can gather at a place. But as is the fact that shooting and production of a film requires an army of crew members, actors, directors, and whatnot. Such arrangements are just not possible at this point in time.
The filming of the third installment in Star Trek: the discovery was completed by February 2020 when they had to pack up due to the above-mentioned reason. The incomplete post-production work was left in the chaos and no clear date set for the release of the series.
