Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is an upcoming American science fiction adventure drama television series from Paramount+. It is based on Star Trek by Gene Roddenberry and is created by Akiva Goldsman, Alex Kurtzman, and Jenny Lumet.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is set to premiere on May 5, 2022, and its first 10-episode season will run through July 7. A second season was announced in January 2022, and began filming a month later.
Originally launched as CBS AII Access on October 28, 2014 (10 All Access in Australia), the service was expanded and rebranded as Paramount+ on March 4, 2021, following the 2019 remerger of CBS and Viacom. The ad-free Paramout+ Premium Plan is $9.99 per month, while the ad-supported Paramount+ Essential service is $4.99 per month.
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Plot and Cast
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds takes place in the pre-James T. Kirk era when Capt. Christopher Pike (Anson Mount) manned the helm of the U.S.S. Enterprise. With his Number One (Rebecca Romijn) and Vulcan Science Officer Spock (Ethan Peck) at his side, Pike and the Enterprise will explore new worlds around the galaxy.
