Jeri Ryan, the Seven of Nine of Star Trek: Voyager star, just opened up about the least favorite memory of her on the set. And trust us when we say those are embarrassing for her as she says that herself. Read to know what Ryan says about it.

Recently, an online reunion of the star cast of the Star Trek: Voyager took place. The interview had a question, wherein everybody was asked about their favorite elements about the show. They were also asked about their least favorite moment or element.

Listening to that, Jeri Ryan had to speak up her mind. She didn’t slide up when talking about her time on the set.

Jeri Ryan: “The corset wasn’t a lot of fun.”

Ryan mentioned how it was difficult for her to treks to the bathroom regularly. And how it was embarrassing for her to bother the crew every time she to wanted to use the bathroom. She also mentioned the reason for it. She had to go through all of that because of a certain piece of costuming.

“Not being able to go to the bathroom without the entire crew knowing it, and having to make production shut down. That was a bit of a downside.”

“If I had to go, it was on the radio” Jeri Ryan while talking about the bathroom struggle.

As nobody announces their bathroom breaks, and nobody has to wait for their team to come and start filming again. However, Ryan has to go through just the opposite situation on the set. Jeri talked about how the entire crew has to wait until she was done with her business.

“If I had to go, it was on the radio, ‘Jeri’s going. 10-1. That’s 20.’ Because, you know, I had to have somebody dress me and undress me. It was a 20-minute thing to get me undressed, go to the bathroom, get dressed, go back to set. It was a thing.”

And it indeed was an imperfect situation for her.

Jeri Ryan: “I got really ill.”

She also talked about how she was physically hustling while filming on the set.

Ryan always needed the crew member to get her out of the corset and costume to use the bathroom and that became embarrassing and hectic for her. Hence, she had two choices, one, to continue doing the same and take filming a long time then decided. Second, not to go to the bathroom anyway.

Ryan, on the other hand, went for the second one indeed. She stopped the intake of any liquid substance until the shooting was done.

However, she then faced some major difficulties and health problems as she told in the reunion.

“I actually got so sick my first season on the show because I felt so bad that it was a production shutdown, so I would just not drink all day. And I got really ill. (Laughs) It’s not a good thing to do.”

Well, it indeed wasn’t a good idea. And we really hope for Jeri doesn’t have to go through such costume difficulties hereafter.
