Created by Rose Matafeo, Starstruck is a comedy series made for BBC Three and HBO Max. The show is written by Matafeo alongside Alice Snedden.
Jon Thoday, Richard Allen-Turner, Rob Aslett and Toby Welch are the executive producers of the show. The first season premiered on April 25, 2021 followed by the second season on February 2, 2022. It currently holds an approval rating of 100% on Rotten Tomatoes and considering that, the makers have already renewed the show for a third season.

Starstruck Plot and Cast
The makers have not exactly revealed anything on what would happen in the third season of Starstruck. However, it is confirmed to continue from where the second season ended. Season 2 has possibly left a lot of cliffhangers and they are expected to be resolved in Season 3.
Now coming to the basic plot, it is a screwball comedy about a 20-something New Zealand woman living in Hackney, London, working jobs in a cinema and as a nanny. After a one-night stand on New Year’s Eve, she discovers she slept with a famous movie star.
The cast members that have been confirmed for now include Rose Matafeo, Nikesh Patel and Emma Sidi. The recurring cast members include Sindhu Vee, Al Roberts, Jon Pointing, Joe Barnes, Nic Sampson, Lola-Rose Maxwell. Abraham Popoola and more. The show will also feature a guest appearance by Minnie Driver.
Starstruck Season 3 Release Date
Starstruck Season 1 was released in 2021 and the second season was released the following year. The show was renewed for a third season in June 2022 and considering that, Season 3 should arrive by 2023.
The upcoming season might consist of six episodes like the first two seasons. The series is produced by Avalon Television and distributed by BBC Three and HBO Max.
