Created by Stacy McKee, Station 19 is an American action-drama television series. It is the second spin-off of Grey’s Anatomy. The executive producers of the show are Stacy McKee, Shonda Rhimes, Betsy Beers, Paris Barclay, Krista Vernoff, and Ellen Pompeo.

The first season of the show premiered on March 22, 2018. In May 2021, the series was renewed for a fifth season which premiered on September 30, 2021. On April 20, 2023, the series was renewed for a seventh season which is set to premiere soon.

If you managed to check out our Station 19 season 5 ending explanations, then you probably noticed there were quite a few cliffhangers in the finale episode. As we previously mentioned here, Jack left. Not only did he leave the firehouse, but he quit his job which left room for Andy to be rehired. Does this mean Jack will be off the canvas of the series, or is he gearing up for a journey of self-exploration that takes him on the road?

Then there was the threat Maya made. In her final scenes of last season, she threatened to disclose to superiors that Robert and Natasha are romantically involved if Natasha didn’t reinstate her as captain. While Maya probably thinks she made a wise choice, we can’t help but think the move will have major consequences for her.

There hasn’t been a lot mentioned about casting news, Since the inception of the series, Jaina Lee Ortiz has led the series playing Andy Herrera. Other actors rounding out the main cast include Jason George, Grey Damon, Barrett Doss, Jay Hayden, Danielle Savre, Boris Kodjoe, and Stefania Spampinato.

ABC renewed Station 19 on April 20, 2023, but the release date is yet to be confirmed. But the number of episodes of the new season is yet to be confirmed.

In January 2022, the series was renewed for a sixth season which premiered on October 6, 2022. The series debuted on March 22, 2018.
