Directed by Jun Falkenstein, Roy Burdine, Amber Tornquist Hollinger, and Gary Hartle, Stillwater is an animated children’s television series. It is based on a 2005 children’s picture book named Zen Shorts by Jon J. Muth.

The picture book can be divided into three sections based on the three stories told in the book. So, considering that, we can surely expect a third season. In terms of the storyline, the third season will follow the plot that has been mentioned in the third book.

The makers have decided to release Stillwater Season 3 on May 19, 2023, on Apple TV+. The series received a positive response from critics and audiences. The series won the Peabody Awards on June 21, 2021, and also won the Daytime Emmy Awards on July 17, 2021, in the category of Outstanding Editing for a Preschool Animated Program.

Since both seasons of the series have consisted of a different number of episodes so, we cannot predict the number of episodes in the new season. The series is produced by Scholastic Entertainment and Gaumont Animation.

Stillwater focuses on three siblings who have to confront a lot of challenges and sometimes they keep on coming over them for a long time. However, they manage to develop a friendship with a panda named Stillwater. Stillwater features normal stories and routine humor and it shows the children understanding their feelings and finding things by which they fight with their challenges.

Now coming to the cast which includes Judah Mackey as Karl, James Sie as Stillwater, Tucker Chandler as Michael, and Eva Binder as Addy.
