Netflix’s original Stranger Things created by Duffer Brothers, is one of the most popular supernatural series on the streaming platform. With three seasons in its name, the series has almost reached its end with the upcoming season four which the fans are eagerly waiting to see, wondering about the release date and anticipating the plot with many theories of their own. The production of the fourth season of Stranger Things has been halted because of the pandemic outbreak of Covid-19. Netflix has been halting the production of many series which includes Stranger Things, The Witchers, The Society, and few others to maintain the social distancing from each other in this crucial time of Covid-19. So, it is still not known when the production of the fourth season of Stranger Things would resume.

The release date is speculated is around the beginning of 2021, as the production is stopped for a while, and it is also not known when it will resume again. So, it is possible for the fourth season to come out in 2021, or if things go well after the end of a pandemic outbreak of Covid-19 then it is likely possible for the fourth season of Stranger Things to come out at the end of 2020.
