Created by The Duffer Brothers, Stranger Things is a science fiction horror drama television series produced for Netflix. The Duffer Brothers are also the executive producers alongside Shawn Levy, Dan Cohen, Cindy Holland, Brian Wright, Matt Thunell, Karl Gajdusek, and Iain Paterson.

The first season premiered on July 15, 2016, and it has received highly positive reviews from critics. Critics have mostly praised the characterization, atmosphere, acting, soundtrack, directing, writing, and homages to the 1980s films. The fourth season premiered in 2022 and it has been already renewed for a fifth season.
