Streets of Rage is a game developed and released by Sega on the Mega Drive / Genesis in 1991. Streets of Rage 4 is a game that is developed by Dotemu, Lizardcube and Guard Crush Games. The title is a continuation of Sega’s Streets of Rage series, a trio of games released for the Sega Genesis during the early 1990s. The game is set to be released on April 30th, 2020 for Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
The series is known worldwide for its music influenced by electronic dance. Streets of Rage 4’s music is performed by artists including Yuzō Koshiro, Motohiro Kawashima, Yoko Shimomura, Harumi Fujita, Keiji Yamagishi. And several more who will produce new beautiful tracks for these new Streets of Rage series season.
Combat/Battle Mode has been revealed for Streets of Rage 4, bringing a new trailer that shows some of the features and objectives of the game. It is influenced by timeless playing and electronic dance.
Release Date
The first Streets of Rage 4 gameplay trailer was released in March 2019 amid much excitement by hardcore franchise fans. Its recent trailer shows off Battle mode, where players can beat each other up. The planned release date for Street of Rage 4 is 30 April 2020.
Gameplay
“Battle Mode helps one to pick the favorite characters and check their talents over multiple unforgettable stages versus up to three rivals,” explained executive producer Cyrille Imbert in a recent blog.
Keeping Battle Mode aside, much of the Streets of Rage 4 looks and sounds like a faithful update of the old-school beat-’em-up.
New to the gameplay system is the ability to restore health lost using a special attack by executing consecutive follow-up actions. Stars can be obtained to allow players to execute powerful super moves. The game will also enable players to turn to the Streets of Rage and Streets of Rage 2 soundtracks.
The groundbreaking Streets of Rage show returns with a masterful salute to and revitalization of retro action fans. Rage’s Streets 4 got back its famous characters: Axel, Blaze, Adam partnering with new siblings Floyd Iraia and Cherry Hunter.
