Developed by Mirko Cetrangolo and Anita Rivaroli, Summertime is an Italian drama television series, produced for Netflix. Donatella Di Benedetto is the executive producer of the show and it is produced by Marco Chimenz, Francesca Longardi, Giovanni Stabilini and Riccardo Tozzi.
The first season premiered on April 29, 2020 followed by the second season on June 3, 2021. The series generally received positive reviews from critics and audiences and has been rated 6/10 on IMDb. Considering the decent feedback towards the first two seasons, the show has been renewed for a third and final season.

Summertime Plot and Cast
Summertime Season 2 ended on a cliffhanger and all the unsolved questions from the previous season will be answered in Season 3. The new season will mostly focus on Ale and Summer and we will also learn about the condition of Lola and whether she has survived or not.
Giulia will be back in the picture and we would get to see if Edo is going to Hamburg or not. The third season will take the story forward for all the characters. However, this will be the final season and there are no updates on if the series will be renewed for another season or get a reboot.
Coming to the cast for third season, we should get to see Coco Rebecca Edogamhe, Ludovico Tersigni, Amanda Campana, Andrea Lattanzi, Giovanni Maini, Thony and Alice Ann Edogamhe in the lead roles. There is a possibility that Stefano Fregni, Giuseppe Giacobazzi, Eugenio Krauss, Maria Sole Mansutti, Mario Sgueglia, Caterina Biasiol and Alberto Boubakar Malanchino might return.
Summertime Season 3 Release Date
The makers of Summertime have not revealed a release date for the third season. Since the second season premiered in June 2021, the upcoming season should premiere by the end of 2022.
The new season is expected to have eight episodes like the first two seasons. The developers are yet to reveal further details related to the final season.
