Super Mario 3D World in the Super Mario franchise is developed and released by Nintendo for the Wii U home gaming console in November 2013. It’s the sixth original 3D platform title in the franchise and the successor to the 2011 Nintendo 3DS Super Mario 3D Land title.
The game follows Mario and his friends seeking to save fairy-like beings named Sprixes, who attack the world known as the Sprixie Kingdom. The gameplay is similar to the previous installments of the franchise, with players going through various stages to enter Bowser.
The game features a character generator as well as a power-up called the Super Bell. It transforms the player into a cat, allowing them to mount walls and use a scratch attack.

About new title
The Nintendo Switch named Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury was released on 3 September 2020 as part of the Super Mario Bros. 35th Anniversary Nintendo Direct. The port upgrades the gameplay by making players sprint and ascend quicker by around 30%. This re-release will include online multiplayer co-ops as well as amiibo games, where Nintendo will introduce Cat Mario and Cat Peach amiibo.
The special launch of the Bowser’s Fury edition of the game and the transition of Super Mario 3D World to Switch is being held to mark the 35th anniversary of the original Mario title. Nintendo also revealed at the recent Nintendo Direct event that more games from the Mario series would add additional gameplay enhancements and features to the Switch portfolio.
Super Mario 3D World offers some of the best level designs you’ll find in a 3D Mario game. It’s going to be extremely appealing to people who felt the Super Mario Odyssey wasn’t difficult enough beyond its later stages. In reality, the last half of the game may seem to be hard for some fans.
Bowser’s Fury tends to be an expansion to the original title, with at least one more vast dimension, somewhat of an open-world equivalent to that seen in Super Mario Odyssey. Not much is known about this extension, but more details will be available before launch.
