Survivor is the American version of the international Survivor Reality Show television franchise. This was adapted from the Swedish TV series Expedition Robinson produced by Charlie Parsons, which was premiered in 1997. The American series was debuted on CBS on May 31, 2000. It is anchored by television personality Jeff Probst, who is also an executive producer with Mark Burnett and the original creator, Parsons.

The TV show puts a group of strangers in a remote area, where they have to provide food, fire, and shelter. The contestants participate in the challenge of prizes and immunity from elimination. The contestants are phased out of the game when they are voted out by their fellow contestants until only one remains and the title of “Sole Survivor” is rewarded with a grand prize of US$1,000,000 (US$2,000,000 in War Winners).

Survivor Plot:

The seasoned reality series hosted by Jeff Probst takes 20 returning castaways to Fiji’s Mamanuca Islands for its 40th season. In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the season, the castaways are all the past winners of the series. This season brings back the island known as the “Edge of Extinction,” where players who have been voted out are pushed harder than ever for a chance to get back to the table. The castaways compete against each other with the same ultimate goal — to outwit, outplay and outlast each other in an attempt to become the Sole Survivor, again.

Survivor Season 41 Cast:

For now, it’s unclear who’s in the cast for season 41. Although the squad was originally locked in earlier this year for the first filming attempts, probably a year-long hiatus would most certainly mean changes to the original castaway lineup. However it can be expected that the squad would be made up of all young players. Although this is provided that veterans have played a role in the last three seasons.

Survivor Season 41 Release Date:

There is no update as of now for the debut of this season of the show. The show was expected to release in Fall 2020, but that has been postoned.
