Developed by Jim Mickle, Sweet Tooth is a fantasy drama streaming television series made for Netflix. Mickle is also the executive producer alongside Susan Downey, Robert Downey Jr., Amanda Burrell, Linda Moran and Beth Schwartz.
The first season of the series premiered on June 4, 2021 and received positive reviews from critics. It currently holds an approval rating of 97% on Rotten Tomatoes and considering the positive response, the makers have already renewed the series for a second season.

Sweet Tooth Plot and Cast
Although the makers have not revealed much, Sweet Tooth will continue from where Season 1 ended. Further details are expected to be revealed soon.
Sweet Tooth Season 1 ended with Gus taken to Dr. Aditya Singh, who is desperate to find a vaccine for the H5G9 virus. However, after hearing about Gus, he realizes that his hybrid-born boy cannot be divided and he instead decides to continue his experiments on Gus. We might get to see the former therapist, Aimee Eden, who saves Jepperd and plans to set free her adopted hybrid daughter Wendy and all of the other kids from Abbot’s forces, who abducted them.
Coming to the cast, we should get to see Nonso Anozie, Christian Convery, Adeel Akhtar, Stefania LaVie Owen, Dania Ramirez, Aliza Vellani, James Brolin and Will Forte. Since it is a new season, we can expect to see some new faces.
Sweet Tooth Season 2 Release Date
The makers have not revealed a release date for Sweet Tooth Season 2. Since it was renewed for a second season in July 2021, it should premiere sometime in 2023.
The upcoming season is expected to consist of eight episodes like the first season. The series is produced by Nightshade, Team Downey, DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Television.
