Developed by Jason Sudeikis, Bill Lawrence, Brendan Hunt and Joe Kelly, Ted Lasso is a sports comedy-drama series made for Apple TV+. Sudeikis, Lawrence, Hunt and Kelly are also the executive producers alongside Jeff Ingold and Bill Wrubel.
The first season of the series premiered on August 14, 2020 followed by the second season on July 23, 2021. The series received positive reviews from critics and audiences, and currently holds an approval rating of 94% on Rotten Tomatoes. The creators have already renewed the series for a third season.

Ted Lasso Plot and Cast
Considering the second season of Ted Lasso, the characters are expected to go through a lot. We will get to see if AFC Richmond manages to defeat West Ham and win the Premier League and if they can win back Nate from the dark side.
Rebecca is feeling torn after a fling with a young player, Sam, who turned down a big opportunity at another club to remain with AFC Richmond, and not her. Keeley and Roy seem on the verge of splitting with the former footballer worrying his business-mogul girlfriend is going to tire of him and move on.
Coming to the cast, the lead members of the first two seasons should reprise their roles in Season 3. This includes Jason Sudeikis, Hannah Waddingham, Jeremy Swift, Phil Dunster, Brett Goldstein, Brendan Hunt, Nick Mohammed and Juno Temple. Since it is a new season, we should get to see some new faces.
Ted Lasso Season 3 Release Date
The second season of Ted Lasso premiered in July 2021 and it released one year after the premiere of Season 1. Online reports have confirmed that the third season would premiere in 2022, although an exact release date is yet to be revealed.
