Created by Alyson Levy and Alissa Nutting, Teenage Euthanasia is an adult animated comedy television series. Levy and Nutting are also the executive producers alongside Lisa Thomas, Vernon Chatman, John Lee, Keith Crofford and Walter Newman.

The first season of the series premiered on September 6, 2021 and received mixed reviews from critics. It has been rated 5.3/10 on IMDb and despite the mixed response, the makers have renewed the series for a second season, which is scheduled to premiere soon.

Teenage Euthanasia Plot and Cast

Since the series was recently renewed for a second season, the makers have not revealed much about the plot for the new season. However, it is expected to continue from where Season 1 ended.

It is set in the mildly apocalyptic near future where Trophy Fantasy is a teenage mother who left her baby daughter Euthanasia “Annie” Fantasy in the custody of her undertaker mother Baba and her half-brother Pete at their funeral home Tender Endings in the fictional town of Fort Gator, Florida.

After getting a divorce from her husband and dying from an overdose 15 years later, Trophy’s corpse is delivered to Baba at Tender Endings as her written demand to those who found her dead. An unexpected combination of Baba’s embalming fluid, Annie’s tears and a lightning bolt from a thunderstorm revives Trophy as a sentient zombie with supernatural abilities that involves housing a swarm of sentient beetles in her crotch.

Coming to the cast, we should get to see Maria Bamford, Jo Firestone, Tim Robinson and Bebe Neuwirth in the lead roles. Since it is a new season, we can expect to see some new faces.

Teenage Euthanasia Season 2 Release Date

The first season of Teenage Euthanasia premiered in September 2021. It took a few months for the makers to renew the series for a second season as it was renewed this year. Considering that, the second season should premiere by the end of 2022.

The new season might consist of six episodes like the first season, although a confirmation is still awaited. Further details are expected to be revealed soon.
