Tehran: Plot and Cast
The female protagonist of the show, named Tamar Rabinyan (played by Niv Sultan), was born in Iran but grew up in Israel as a spy. She is a computer hacker and a Mossad agent, who goes to Tehran to stop Iran from gaining nuclear weapons. This will ensure that the Israelis could attack Iran with nuclear weapons and leave them weak and damaged without any fear of a retaliatory nuclear attack.
On arriving in Iran, Tamar quickly impersonates Jila Gorbanifar, an employee at the local power company. She manages to hack into the network of the company and thus, attempt to cut the power to the Iranian radar services, so that they can’t identify whether Israeli forces are about to attack them.
