5 Top Stoner Movies

Do you enjoy full movies instead of TV shows? Many of the top toker films are comedies, but there are a couple of horror and Sci-Fi options that make this list.

1. Pineapple Express

One of the most popular toker films released in 2008 is Pineapple Express. It follows the story of a weed dealer and one of his top customers.

The duo witnesses a murder and accidentally leaves a roach at the crime scene. They then become the target of a dangerous drug lord. The movie is a blend of action, suspense, and comedy, making it ideal for a relaxing night-in with a blunt.

2. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2

Are you more of a horror fan? If so, light up some of your best cannabis buds and pair them with this movie. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre offers suspense, comedy, and lots of gore. It’s a 1986 cult classic.

The plot revolves around Lefty Enright, whose goal is to take down a murderous family, the Sawyers. The film offers an intense experience, made more enjoyable when paired with a high-THC strain.

3. 2001: A Space Odyssey

This Sci-Fi movie first hit the screens in 1968 and is a favorite among tokers. What makes it unique is that it’s divided into four segments with different narratives and themes.

It’s a thought-provoking film that goes well with a balanced indica strain. If you enjoy motion pictures that force you to contemplate life on a deeper level, then 2001: A Space Odyssey is ideal.

4. How High

Do you prefer slapstick comedies with loveable characters that make you roar with laughter? Look no further than How High. It’s a 2001 toker favorite that features the talents of rappers Redman and Method Man.

This comedy is light-hearted and fun, perfect for a relaxing evening after a long day.

5. The Trap

One of the more recent options is The Trap, released in 2019. This film is sure to have you laughing. The story follows a professional chef who returns home to restore his family’s failing chicken shack business.
