The 100 is an American post-apocalyptic science fiction drama featured by the CW. It is based on Kass Morgan’s novel series of the same name. The 100: Plot and cast
A group of people return to Earth after ninety-seven years, finally bringing back life to the planet. They have previously been living in the Ark, which is a space station that orbits the planet. After a nuclear apocalypse destroyed life on the planet, this is the first chance that they get to check if life can again exist on Earth or not.
This mission is to be accomplished by a hundred young detainees, who discover that certain groups of humans did survive. There are the Grounders, a group of clans fighting for power; the Reapers, who have become cannibals and the Mountain Men, who live in Mount Weather. These detainees attempt to establish communication with the Ark as well as try to maintain relationships with the survivors.
Throughout the seasons, the young crew sent by the Ark experience all sorts of wonders and terrible occurrences. Eliza Taylor plays Clarke Griffin, Richard Harmon plays John Murphy whereas Paige Turco plays Abigail “Abby” Griffin. Other cast members are Marie Avgeropoulos, Zach McGowan, Eli Goree, and Bob Morley.
The 100 Season 8: Release Date and Trailer
The 100 had a long run from March 19, 2014 and ended its final season with Season 7. Unfortunately, it has not been renewed for a season 8, which is a disappointment to all us fans! However, we expect many more great shows from The CW and we hope it won’t disappoint us!
