Created by Elise Doganieri and Bertram van Munster, The Amazing Race is an adventure reality game show, made for CBS. Just like most of the shows, this is the original version of the Amazing Race franchise and despite being an American version, it has been broadcasted in other countries.
The first season of the show premiered on September 5, 2001 and it was followed by 32 more seasons on CBS. Van Munster and Doganieri are also the executive producers of the series alongside Jerry Bruckheimer, Jonathan Littman and Mark Vertullo.

The Amazing Race Format and Cast
The makers have not revealed anything about if there would be any changes made to the format of the show. It is expected to remain the same for the rest of the seasons.
The basic format follows 11 or 12 teams of two racing around the world. The race is split into legs, with each leg requiring teams to deduce clues, navigate themselves in foreign areas, interact with locals, perform physical and mental challenges, and travel by airplane, boat, taxi, and other public transportation options on a limited budget provided by the show. Teams are progressively eliminated at the end of most legs, while the first team to arrive at the end of the final leg wins the grand prize of US$1 million.
Phil Keoghan has been presenting the show for a long time and he is expected to return in Season 34. The rest of the details and any other changes made shall be revealed in the next few months.
The Amazing Race Season 34 Release Date
The latest season of The Amazing Race premiered on January 5, 2022 and concluded on March 2, 2022. The series was renewed for a 34th season the same month and it is scheduled to premiere on September 21, 2022.
The 33rd season of the show had eleven episodes and the upcoming season might consist of the same number of episodes. The show is being distributed by Disney Media Distribution.
