The Bachelor Presents: Listen to Your Heart is an American dating reality television series created by Mike Fleiss for ABC. It is a spin-off of The Bachelor and is hosted by Chris Harrison. The series is produced by Next Entertainment in association with Warner Horizon Television, with Fleiss, Martin Hilton, Nicole Woods, Bennett Graebner, Peter Gust, Tim Warner, Louis Caric, and Peter Geist serving as executive producers.
The series follows single men and women, who are musicians or work in the music industry, hoping to find love through music. The contestants will sing well-known songs, both individually and as couples, and explore their relationships while living together and going on Bachelor-style dates that focus on music.
The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart unites two of the most emotionally powerful forces in human life: music and love, as 20 single men and women embark on an incredible journey to find love through music. Though ABC has yet to renew its The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart, for Season 2, that doesn’t necessarily mean it won’t return. Compared to the actual Bachelor and Bachelorette, its ratings have been underwhelming: according to The Wrap, its second episode brought in 2.9 million viewers, down from 3 million during its premiere. That’s less than half of the 6.4 million viewers the previous season of The Bachelor averaged each week.
Hosted by Chris Harrison, The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart will feature 23 single musicians — 12 men and 11 women — as they search for love in each other — and their sound.

“Ultimately, the couples whose performances reveal their love and devotion to one another will continue to be given a chance to further their relationships until only one couple is left standing,” the press release states. For now, The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart cast won’t include former contestants from The Bachelor or The Bachelorette. However, the franchise promises some special appearances by “Bachelor Nation’s favorite couples.” As we’ve seen in the promo trailer, JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers guest star in an episode. There will also be “celebrated names” within the music industry who will turn up on the show.
