The Bachelor Season 27: Release Date, Cast and more!
Created by Mike Fleiss, The Bachelor is a dating and relationship reality television series, made for ABC. Fleiss is also the executive producer of the show.
The first season of the show premiered on March 25, 2002 and ran for 25 more seasons. Although it received a decent response from the audience, it has also been criticized for its lack of ethnic and cultural diversity, eventually prompting petitions and threats of boycott from a lead, Rachel Lindsay. However, the makers have already renewed the series for a 27th season.

The Bachelor Format and Cast
The makers have not announced any changes related to the format of The Bachelor. The series revolves around a single bachelor who begins with a pool of romantic interests from whom he is expected to select a wife.
During the course of the season, the bachelor eliminates candidates each week eventually culminating in a marriage proposal to his final selection. The participants travel to romantic and exotic locations for their dates, and the conflicts in the series, both internal and external, stem from the elimination-style format of the show.
The series has been presented by Chris Harrison, Emmanuel Acho and Jesse Palmer in all these years. The previous season was hosted by Palmer and he is expected to return in the new season as the host. However, an official confirmation is awaited on the same alongside the contestants participating on the show.
The Bachelor Season 27 Release Date
The latest season of The Bachelor premiered on January 3, 2022 and ended on March 15, 2022. The show was renewed for a 27th season on May 13, 2022 and considering that, Season 27 should premiere sometime in 2023.
The previous season had 12 episodes in total and we can expect the same in the upcoming season. The show is distributed by Warner Bros. Television Distribution and produced by NZK Productions Inc. since Season 14.
