The Batman (2021): Release Dates plus interesting details!

The Batman, Upcoming superhero film – The eleventh film in the DC extended universe, based on the Dc comics having the same again, being the reboot of The Batman Film Franchise is almost here.

Directed by matt reeves, while the screenplay was written by him and Mattson Tomlin. A spin-off television series is under construction to be produced on HBO. Ben Affleck was set on developing a batman film along with Geoff Johns, after being cast as Batman in batman v superman: dawn of justice. Helping to direct, write, produce, and star, he finally stepped down and focussed on acting and playing the role of batman. but after reeves took over the roles, he reworked the story and focussed on a younger Batman, and emphasizing on the detective aspect of the character in greater amounts. Robert Pattinson was cast in May when Affleck stepped down back in January. 

The shooting was suspended due to coronavirus but had resumed in the month of July.

In 2018, August, Matt reeves revealed many details about the upcoming Batman movie and said that it will be an original- noir driven story but not an origin story. When the news of the casting on Pattinson was leaked, The whole team was met with backlash from the batman’s fans, but modestly Robert casually said that he found the situation to be less vitriolic than he had imagined.

The cast of The Batman

Robert Pattinson is playing as Bruce Wayne/Batman-Heir of the Wayne Enterprises and dedicated to protecting the Gotham city, acting as a masked vigilante. Robert Pattinson has received a lot of support and advice and has appreciated the true warriors of the “superhero genre”, being Christian bale, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Dwayne johnson, Robert Downey jr. Robert Pattinson appreciated the flawed batman and was able to find the lack of superpowers interesting.
Zoë Kravitz being cast as Selina Kyle / Catwoman, Paul Dano as Edward Nashton or also called the riddler, Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gil Colson, Jayme Lawson as Bella Reál, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, Colin Farrell playing as the Oswald Cobblepot AKA Penguin
Additionally, Undisclosed roles are taken by Gil Perez-Abraham, Charlie Carver, and Max Carver.

The release date for the batman

As of yet, the release date has been decided as the 1st of October 2021, which is almost a year from now. Prequel to the other movies, in the trilogy series, The Batman will be the first movie followed by its two other sequels.  It was originally scheduled to be released on June 25, 2021, but was ultimately postponed due to coronavirus.
