The Bear Season 2: Release Date, Cast, and more!

The Bear Plot and Cast

Season one largely followed Camry (Jeremy Allan White) as he attempted to transform his family’s sandwich shop into a respected restaurant following the death of his brother, Michael (Jon Bernthal).

By episode eight, the season finale, he realizes that his brother had more faith in him than he ever thought after he discovers his cryptic note. “Let it rip,” the note reads—then Camry discovers Michael had left him large sums of cash hidden in food cans around the restaurant. Camry renames the restaurant ‘The Bear’, and he begins the real work of reviving it, his focus renewed with the two money.

In season two, we’ll likely progress on the restaurant continue—though not without some hurdles, no doubt. We’ll also see how Camry’s relationships with Syd (Ayo Edebiri), Richie (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), Marcus (Lionel Boyce), and the rest of his staff develop.

Expect all the chefs to return, with Jeremy Allan White leading the pack as Camry. Ayo Edebiri will also return as Sydney, while Ebon Moss-Bachrach will play Richie and Lionel Boyce will play Marcus. We can also expect to see Liza Colón-Zayas as Tina and Abby Elliott as Natalie.

The Bear Season 2 Release Date

An official release date hasn’t been set for season two of The Bear yet but gave a release window instead. Series co-creators Christopher Storer and Joanna Calo indicated season 2 will arrive in June 22, 2023.

The new season might consist of 8 episodes like the first season, but an official confirmation is still awaited. Detailed information about Season 2 is expected to be revealed soon.
