Legendary musical icons are set to impress the world again with their upcoming documentary series The Beatles: Get Back. It is a three-part series with each part being about two hours long and is directed by Peter Jackson. It was originally planned to be a feature film. However, it was later on changed to its current form. It draws content from the original documentary of the album Let It Be in 1970. It shows a new side to the musicians, refuting claims that the creation of the said album was marked by strife between the members. Also, it wills how never before seen footage of the creation of the famed album. Therefore, it will definitely make for an insightful watch.
The Beatles: Get Back: Plot and Cast
The series was created in cooperation with the members Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, as well as Yoko Ono and Olivia Harrison, wives of the deceased members. It is based on footage from the original documentary by Michael Lindsay Hogg. It will take us back in time as we watch them write and produce the historic album Let It Be in the spirit of positivity. The show will also depict the true story of the Beatle’s breakup. Thus, fans are highly encouraged to check the series out for themselves and find out what it’s all about. Creator Peter Jackson will no doubt do an excellent job at also showcasing the struggles that the band faced.
As it is a documentary series using live footage, the series has no cast as such. It will perhaps feature the four members of the band, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and John Lennon. We will get to see the stars as we are taken behind the scenes.
