The Boss Baby 2: Release Date, Plot and Updates!

Fans of The Boss Baby have been eagerly waiting since 2017 for the sequel of the movie. Well, the great news is our boss baby will be back in business in 2021. Directed by Tom McGrath and produced by Jeff Hermann, The Boss Baby 2 is an American 3D animated comedy film. It is loosely based on the 2010 picture book by Marla Frazee. The movie received much admiration from the viewers for it’s the fun-filled storyline and adorable characters, it earned a total of $528 million. The sequel will be released by Universal Pictures.

Release Date and Trailer:

The official release date of The Boss Baby 2 is March 26th,2020. The prequel premiered on March 31st 2017. The production of the film started remotely in May 2020 during the pandemic. Even though this is a children animated film, the prequel was loved by all age groups for the entertainment factor and humour. We do not have an official trailer or teaser yet. What is it about?

The Boss Baby has an unusual storyline which focuses on a seven-year-old boy, Tim, who empowers his brother, who is an undercover agent. The story begins with an infant wearing a business suit arrives at Tim’s house and is addressed as his baby brother by his parents. Tim is suspicious of the infant’s behaviour and later finds out that he talks like an adult. Tim tries to record the baby talking like an adult to present it to his parents, who are unaware of it. But Tim fails to do so.

However, Tim and the infant soon become friends and the “boss baby” tells him about his job. He is a secret agent in the war for adult’s love between babies and puppies. In the end, the boss baby leaves his loving family after getting promoted. The parents’ memories are erased of the baby so that they are not suspicious. The story concludes with the entrance of a baby-sister who turns out to be just another boss baby. The plot of season 2 is not yet known, we might have to wait for a trailer release to anticipate what happens in the sequel.

Francis, Lisa Kudrow as Janice Templeton, Nina Zoe Bakshi as Tim’s daughter and Conrad Vernon as Eugene Francis.
