The Boys is an American superhero web series. It is based on the comic book of the same name, written by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. This series premiered on July 26, 2019, in Amazon Prime. Amazon renewed The Boys for a second season before the premiere of season 1.
The Boys season two episode titles have been revealed and they imply that the show is deeply connected to the original comic book. The episode titles aren’t in any particular order but the titles are really interesting. Karl Urban who plays Billy Butcher in the series revealed that the second season would premiere in mid-2020. This is a welcome surprise for the fans at this time who are craving for new content!
What Are The Boys All About?

In the universe of The Boys, superpowered individuals are regarded as heroes by the people and owned by a powerful corporation, Vought International which markets them. There are two groups which are the main focus of the series. The Seven, Vought International’s premier superhero team and the Boys, vigilantes whose main aim is to keep the corrupted heroes under control.
The Boys are lead by Billy Butcher who hates all superpowered people and the Seven are lead by Homelander. The series introduces new characters as conflicts ensue between the 2 groups. Hugh “Hughie” Campbell(played by Jack Quaid) joins The Boys after his girlfriend is killed by The Seven is one of the new characters to join the vigilantes. The other character is Annie January/ Starlight(played by Erin Moriarty) of the Seven who is forced to come face to face with the truth about the heroes she admires deeply.
Season 1 of The Boys ends on a cliffhanger and that gives all the more reason for fans to wait eagerly for the next installment of this hit series! It ends with Homelander killing Stillwell after revealing that he tortured Vogelbaum for the truth about Becca. Homelander then saves Butcher from his suicidal explosion. He then shows Butcher where Becca has been secretly raising his son, stunning both Butcher and Becca. This surely is major suspense to end the first season on.
