Created by Aaron Ehasz and Justin Richmond, The Dragon Prince is a fantasy computer-animated streaming series. Ehasz and Richmond are also the executive producers alongside Justin Santistevan, Giancarlo Volpe, Delna Bhesania, Richard Grieve, and Gigi Pritzker.
The first season of the show premiered on September 14, 2018, followed by the second season on February 15, 2019. The third season was released on November 22, 2019. The show has received positive reviews and currently holds an approval rating of 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.

The Dragon Prince Plot and Cast
The fourth season of The Dragon Prince will pick up after the battle of the elves and human fought over the titular dragon prince. Although further details are not available, co-creator Aaron Ehasz teased that the imprisoned mage Aaravos, whose strange caterpillar form entered metamorphosis, will be central to the story.
Aaravos has been a manipulative antagonist so far, getting the human dark mage Viren to do what he wants. He will presumably gain power after his caterpillar form emerges from its cocoon. With him at the end of Season 3 is Claudia, who will be a critically important driving force of the narrative in Season 4.
The new season has to answer “what now?” when it comes to Rayla and Callum, who completed their mission of delivering the dragon prince, Azymondias, to his mother. The pair would likely be important to the continued conflict between the humans and the elves.
Coming to the cast, the actors expected to return and voice the characters include Jack De Sena, Paula Burrows, Sasha Rojen, Jason Simpson, Racquel Belmonte, Jesse Inocalla, Luc Roderique and others.
The Dragon Prince Season 4 Release Date
The third season of The Dragon Prince premiered on 2019 and its been a long time since the series was renewed for a fourth season. Considering everything, Season 4 is expected to release towards the end of 2022.
