The Eternals is an upcoming American superhero film based on a fictional race that first appeared in Marvel Comics. The film is intended to be the twenty sixth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Chloe Zhao directed the film while Kevin Feige produced it. Kaz Firpo and Ryan Firpo wrote the screenplay for the film.

Ramon Djawadi worked on the music for the film while Ben Davis worked as a cinematographer. Dylan Tichenor worked as the editor while Marvel Studios and Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures worked as the production company and distribution company respectively.

The Eternals: Plot and Cast

The film takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame where the Eternals reunite to protect Earth from their enemies, the Deviants, even after they spent thousands of years hiding themselves. The Eternals have secretly lived on Earth for 7000 years and are an immortal alien race created by the Celestials.

Angelina Jolie plays Thena, an Eternal who is a strong and fierce warrior. Richard Madden plays Ikaris, another Eternal, who is extremely strong and can defeat almost anyone. Kumail Nanjiani plays Kingo, an Eternal who has all the power of the cosmos.

Kingo decides to become a popular Bollywood film star in order to blend in on Earth and make sure his charisma and wisecracking attitude finds a safe space. Lauren Ridloff plays Makkari, an Eternal who is really fast. She is also deaf and the only deaf superhero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Brian Tyree Henry plays Plastos, an intelligent inventor with the power of the cosmos. He is also gay. Salma Hayek plays Ajak, the leader of the Eternals who is wise and spiritual. Lia McHugh plays Sprite, an Eternal who is always young and Don Lee plays Gilgamesh. Kit Harrington plays Dane Whitman, Gemma Chan plays Sersi and Barry Keoghan plays Druig.
