The Four: Battle for Stardom Season 3 – Will it be back for another season?

The Four: Battle for Stardom is a reality television music competition series on Fox. It is based on an Israeli format of the same name. The series premiered on January 4, 2018. The first season of The Four had six episodes, and ended on February 8, 2018. It was then renewed for a second season, which premiered on June 7, 2018. The second season had eight episodes, and ended on August 2, 2018. The winners of the first two seasons are Evvie McKinney and James Graham.

The original panelists on The Four included rapper, record producer and music manager Sean Combs, rapper and music producer DJ Khaled, singer-songwriter Meghan Trainor, and music executive Charlie Walk. Charlie Walk withdrew from the series prior to the season 1 finale, due to accusations of sexual assault against him. The Four is hosted by Fergie.

The concept of The Four is this-

“The Four begins where most competitions end: with the four finalists. Four super-talented and fiercely competitive singers, chosen from their auditions by the show’s panel of music industry experts, will try to defend their coveted spots on the stage, as they are challenged individually by new singers determined to replace them. Each week, if any of the four are outperformed, they’ll go home and their challengers will take their place. If the existing four singers outperform their challengers, then they survive to sing another week, until the end of the season, when the singers have safely secured their spots on stage and face off against each other, resulting in one being named the winner.”

The Four Season 3 – Will it be renewed?

Season 1 of The Four was part of Fox’s winter programming schedule in the 2017-18 season, whereas season 2 was part of the summer programming schedule of the 2018-19 season. The first season saw an average of 3.64 million viewers across USA, and the second season had an average of 2.73 million viewers. Although the ratings did drop a little for season 2, the popularity of the show remained high nonetheless.

Although Fox has not cancelled The Four, it has not renewed it either. There has been no official announcement from Fox about season 3 of The Four. Fans can only hope that Fox does renew it some day.
