The Godfather III: Plot and Cast
The Godfather Part III was first released in 1990 to a great theatrical release. It is the story of Michael Corleone, the patriarch of the Corleone mafia family. Al Pacino plays Michael Corleone throughout The Godfather series. He is the one who inherits it after the death of his father, Vito Corleone. Marlon Brando and Robert De Niro have played Vito Corleone in the other movies.
Michael Corleone is considered to be one of the greatest villains in film history. Originally, the name of the movie was supposed to be The Death of Michael Corleone. However, it was rejected by Paramount Pictures, the production company. This remake by Coppola seeks to remedy exactly that!

This last installation of The Godfather shows Corleone with regrets and guilt over his actions. As he turns 60, he regrets having ordered his brother Fredo’s assassination. He starts donating to charitable causes. Michael also tries to reconnect with his wife, Kay. The movie ends with Michael grieved over the death of his daughter Mary.
Diane Keaton plays Kay Adams-Corleone, Michael’s estranged wife. Sofia Coppola plays Michael’s daughter Mary. Al Martino plays Johnny Fontane. Finally, Talia Shire plays Connie Corleone.
The Remake of The Godfather III: Release Date
The new film titled The Godfather, Coda: The Death of Michael Corleone is expected to be released online in December 2020. Coppola intends for it to be a much closer representation of what he and Puzo originally wanted for the movie.

As for us, we absolutely can’t get over the surprise that this reboot brings!
