The Goldbergs Season 10: Release Date, Plot and more!

Created by Adam F. Goldberg, The Goldbergs is an American period sitcom television series that premiered on September 24, 2013, on ABC. Goldberg is also the producer alongside Seth Gordon, and Doug Robinson. It is based on Goldberg’s childhood and family in the 1980s, complete with a childhood version of himself.

The series ran for seven more seasons until 2020 and the latest ninth season premiered on September 22, 2021. In April 2022, the series was renewed for a tenth season. This comes after The Goldbergs celebrated its milestone 200th episode on March 2 and ahead of its Season 9 finale, slated to air on May 18.

So when is Goldbergs Season 10 releasing? What is the plot? Who are playing the lead roles? Continue reading to know further details.

The Goldbergs Plot and Cast

TVLine reports that ABC has renewed The Goldbergs for season 10. Additionally, the show will also address Garlin’s departure. Although not many details have been revealed, Murray will reportedly be written out of the series early in the season. More information will surely be revealed once season 10 gets closer to its premiere date.

Unfortunately, Garlin’s exit from The Goldbergs season 9 was not made alone. Ahead of its debut, long-time cast member George Segal passed away at the age of 87 due to complications during bypass surgery.

During the premiere of The Goldbergs season 9, the series honoured Segal and revealed his character, Pops, who had quietly passed away in his sleep. Since The Goldbergs averages over 4 million viewers per week, making it ABC’s second-most-watched program, it was inevitable that the network would renew it for another season. However, how the series will address Garlin’s exit remains to be seen.

The expected casts members for the new season include Jeff Garlin as Murray Christian Goldberg, Wendi McLendon-Covey as Beverly Goldberg, Sean Giambrone as Adam Frederick Goldberg, Troy Gentile as Barry Norman Goldberg, Hayley Orrantia as Erica Dorothy Goldberg, George Segal as Albert “Pops” Solomon, Sam Lerner as Geoff “Madman” Schwartz and others.

The Goldbergs Season 10 Release Date

Since The Goldbergs was renewed recently this month, details related to the plot and release date are yet to be disclosed by the makers. Further information would be unveiled in the next few months.

The new season might consist of 22-24 episodes like the first nine seasons. The developers might release the other details about Season 10 by the end of 2022.
