The popular show which has already completed 16 seasons and was due for next season.  The filming of next season was stopped due to the spread of coronavirus epidemic and fans are now worried and tensed about its future season

Grey’s Anatomy is a famous American medical drama that first premiered on March 27,2005, on the ABC. The fictional series focuses on the lives of surgical interns, residents and attending doctors as they mature to become veteran doctors and also showcasing their personal lives and relationships they have. The series was made to have a  racially diverse cast and uses color-blind casting. The series is settled in Seattle at the fictional Seattle Grace Hospital. The series’ success has made its main cast global celebrities with fans all over the globe and was among the top highest-earning television actors.

Grey’s Anatomy has been well received by critics throughout much of its run and has been well awarded. It is also the longest-running prime-time medical drama series and also the longest-running scripted primetime show currently airing on the ABC.

Renewal Status??

A big! big! big! yes!  On May 10, 2019 Grey’s Anatomy was renewed for seasons 16 and 17. Dr.Meredith Grey aka Ellen Pompeo’s contract being extended for these seasons bringing much joy to fans all over the globe.

Expected Dates

Usually, it could be expected to air in its slot of September as has been the case with most of Grey’s Anatomy ‘s previous season.

This year is very much different than anything seen in the past. So nothing can be actually said right now. The complete entertainment industry is in chaos over the delay  and hence, unfortunately, nothing can be said until we deal with the current world scenario
