The Handmaid’s Tale is an American dystopian tragedy television series. Bruce Miller is the creator of this show. The show is based on the 1985 novel which also had the same name. Margaret Atwood, the Canadian author, wrote the novel. The streaming service Hulu ordered the for the series as a straight-to-series order of 10 episodes. Production for this began in late 2016.The plot features a dystopia following a Second American Civil War. In this show, we also see a totalitarian society subjects fertile women, called “Handmaids”, to child-bearing slavery.
The first three episodes of the series premiered on April 26, 2017, after which the consecutive seven episodes were released every Wednesday thereafter.
The Handmaid’s Tale‘s first season won a total of eight Primetime Emmy Awards from 13 nominations. The show also won Outstanding Drama Series. It is the first show produced by Hulu to win major awards. This series also won the Golden Globe Award for Best Television Series – Drama.

Joseph Fiennes plays the part of Commander Fred Waterford, a high-ranking government official and June’s former master. Yvonne Strahovski is seen as Serena Joy Waterford, Fred’s wife and a former conservative cultural activist. WHEN IS SEASON 4 OF THE HANDMAID’S TALE RELEASING?
