The Hot Zone: Anthrax: Plot and Cast
The first season of the show featured Army scientist Nancy Jaax who had to navigate the complications of a deadly outbreak of the Ebola virus in Washington D.C., 1989. However, the upcoming season focuses on anthrax attacks. Just after the devastating 9/11 terrorist strike, lethal anthrax spores sealed in letters were sent to several politicians and media outlets. Hence, it was a major event. According to executive producer Kelly Souders, the show attempts to put us in the “shoes of people who were on the ground” to portray a “tense and terrifying time” it was,”. The plot is therefore a highly interesting one. Thus we can expect the season to be quite fascinating
As for the cast, it has been confirmed that Daniel Dae Kim and Tony Goldwyn will play the roles of the microbiologist and FBI agent respectively. However, not much more is known about the rest of the cast.
