How bad can a field trip go before you declare it a disaster? We are about to find out about an upcoming British series that premieres on Netflix in early April. The story follows a group of young students who are forced to fight for their survival when a robot apocalypse suddenly breaks out and humanity starts to get decimated, one laser beam at a time.
The Last Bus: Plot and Cast!
Paul Neafcy has written and created this series. A young ensemble cast of new talent will lead the series. The Umbrella Academy, Misfits star Robert Sheehan as the villain Dalton Monkhouse, and Tom Besden (Afterlife, Plebs) will join them.
Apart from them, there will be some other cast members like Laura Crowhurst, Phoenix Payne, Cameron Ashplant, Toby Pearce, George Baker etc.
The official synopsis reads: “After embarking on a life-changing field trip, a group of whip-smart and mismatched students become the unlikely heroes when a robot apocalypse zaps away the rest of humanity.”
Wildseed Studios, the company behind the thriller PrankMe has produced this series.
Sheehan will once again reprise his fan-favourite role as Klaus Hargreeves in Netflix’s highly-anticipated third season of The Umbrella Academy. His other acting credits include films such as The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, The Road Within, Geostorm, and Mortal Engines as well as TV appearances in The Borrowers, Fortitude, Accused, and Genius: Picasso.

Netflix has recently dropped the official trailer for its newest coming-of-age sci-fi action series titled The Last Bus. Please Check out the trailer below :
The trailer for the 10-episode series reveals the story will play out like a cross between hit series Stranger Things and 2011’s action/sci-fi comedy Attack the Block, with a side of Transformers added for good measure.
The series will be available for streaming on April 1, only on Netflix.
