The Last of Us Part 2 plot leaked online

The Last of Us is a 2013 action and adventure game developed by Naughty Dog and publishing has been done by Sony Computer Entertainment. It is played from a third-person perspective and, the game follows Joel, a smuggler whose given the task of escorting a teenage girl, Ellie across the post-apocalyptic US.

Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us part two which is coming exclusively on PlayStation 4, and the plot of the game got leaked online. The gamers reacted negatively to the leaked story because it’s highly traumatic and unexpected with the biggest twist different from the original plot. The leaked plot gives away some major highlight and key points, important scenes of the game, and looks like a more polished version of The Last of Us, but soon the video was taken down by YouTube because of copyright claims.

The source who leaked the plot is not known yet, but it’s suspected that it’s one of the disgruntled employees of Naughty Dog according to GamesIndustries.biz. The reason for leaking is still undercover, and due to the pandemic outbreak of Covid-19, the game arrival also got delayed. Due to the leak story of the game, Sony announced a release date for The Last of Us part two which is June 19, 2020. There have been no direct official comments from Naughty Dog and Sony Entertainment regarding the plot leak online. Sony asked YouTube to take down the video, and Naughty Dog asked the fans on Twitter to ignore the leaked video of the plotline.
